On October 10, 2024, the World of Outbound signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Armed Forces of the Philippines to promote peace education, social cohesion, and nation-building through Outbound Education experiences.
The MOA was signed by General Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., PA, Chief of Staff of the AFP, and Ramon C. Jocson, Executive Director of Outbound.
This was witnessed by MGen Arvin R. Lagamon, PA, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations (J7), and Rosa-Vina P. Jocson, Director for Operations of Outbound in the presence of MGen Jimmy D. Larida, PN(M), Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (J3); MGen Ramon P. Zagala, PA, Commander of the Civil Relations Service AFP; BGen Edgar C. Torres, PAF, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for CMO (AJ7); and Col. Rolando Dumawa, PA (Ret), Consultant of Outbound.
The signing was preceded by a brief presentation of the Outbound Education Learning Experience Design (LXD) to the AFP officers, CMO practitioners, and attendees of the 3rd CMO Forum 2024.
This agreement will further strengthen the AFP’s thrust in Youth Development through relevant, curriculum aligned learning experiences. Outbound has been offering programs within military facilities since 2007.
